12 Subscribe To Feeds Widget - With Mouse Over And Out Slide Effect For Blogger

Subscription of Feeds through email is one of the most important features available in Blogger. You can grab code for this widget easily through Feedburner and add as a widget to your blogger template through Layout > Add A Gadget > HTML & Javascript process. This method will give a static widget in a traditional style to your blog for your visitors to subscribe to your blog feeds through email.

Now, suppose you want this widget in a different style, here is the way to have this widget as slide on mouse over and mouse out.

To grab this widget follow the steps below, it's as simple as copy-paste:

First of all, download javascript files from here (jsfiles.zip).
Unpack the zip file to get following files:

1. mmenu.js
2. menuitems.js

Now, grab your 'Email Subscriptions' code from Feedburner and open the second downloaded javascript file i.e. menuitems.js with a text editor and find following text within it;

and replace with the 'Email Subscriptions' code from Feedburner. Save the file.

The next step is to upload both downloaded javascript files to some file hosting sites which you would be using and grab the Urls of both uploaded files.

Now, log on to your blogger account, go to Layout > Edit HTML and add following codes just above </head> tag in your template:

<script type="text/javascript" src="YOUR UPLOADED JAVACRIPT FILE ONE URL"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="YOUR UPLOADED JAVACRIPT FILE TWO URL"></script>

In the above codes just replace red texts with the Urls of your uploaded Javascript files, that's it. Now, save the template and view your blog with a different look. Enjoy Blogging with a difference!
